Salary: Grade G7 from:  £39,607 to £46,771 inclusive of London Weighting with potential to progress to £50,858 per annum, inclusive of London Weighting, through sustained exceptional contribution.

The Directorate of Marketing, Communications and Recruitment/Reputation (MCR) is responsible for communication between the University and its external audiences including potential students and their friends, families and teachers, the media, the local, regional, national and international communities, business, industry, our graduates and other key stakeholders.

Main accountabilities:

You’ll ensure that students are well-informed, able to access the services and information they need and able to study, work and socialise effectively during the entirety of their student journey.

You’ll work across a range of existing and future communication and engagement platforms and activities, including email, web, social media, print and events. And use your experience of communications and engagement to deliver regular, timely proactive and reactive messages. You’ll also be responsible for planning campaigns for specific initiatives in line with the overarching objectives of the University. For example, the NSS, Graduation, Welcome Week and Student Experience.

Throughout your role you’ll ensure that all communications are delivered in a consistent tone of voice, with opportunities for feedback and engagement, in order to build a strong on and off-campus community.
