This post is part-time, 14 hours per week and fixed term for 12 months. The salary stated above is the pro-rata amount, the full time salary would be £64,691 – £72,127 per annum (Incl. LWA).

We wish to recruit a part-time Principal Lecturer to lead the curriculum and external partnerships development of our new suite of Nursing courses including Registered Degree Nursing Apprenticeships and Nursing Associate Apprenticeships. The successful candidate will join the School of Life Sciences, which has a wide reputation for teaching and research in the heart of London. The School hosts a suite of well- established apprenticeship, foundation, undergraduate (BSc) and postgraduate (Masters) courses for both full-time and part-time students.

The appointee will complement and strengthen our existing expertise in health professions leading the school through key curriculum development and readiness to launch processes. They will also assist with the development of external partnerships that will promoting the growth and external recognition these courses. The post holder will be required to represent the course at selected recruitment events.  

Applicants for this post should demonstrate evidence of a proven track record of successfully developing nursing curricula, Nursing and Midwifery Counsel Gateway submission processes and approvals and external partnership development.

The School offers an exciting range of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, short courses and plans to grow its apprenticeship provision in clinical health professions.  Located within Fitzrovia in Central London, the School supports approximately 2000 diverse, multicultural students. As well as having a variety of established industry sector links, the school hosts a vibrant research community, including three research centres, an overarching cross university research institute and plans for further growth and strong reputation building. As a team member, you will work closely with colleagues across the School, the wider University and key external stakeholders and regulators.
