The team

currently include:

  • Local Energy Scotland which delivers the Scottish Government’s Community and Renewable
Energy Scheme (CARES). CARES supports the development of community-led local energy projects

with community groups and stakeholders across Wales and provides a range of advice, support and
    loan and grant funding.
  • The Ofgem Redress scheme which distributes payments from companies who may have breached
Ofgem rules. Registered Charities, Community Interest Companies, Co-operative Societies and
Community Benefit Societies can apply for funds to deliver energy related projects that meet
the scheme priorities and benefit people in GB.
  • The SP Energy Network Net Zero Fund which helps vulnerable communities develop their net
zero plans to ensure that no one is left behind on the Scotland’s journey to Net Zero.
