The Business Development department of SCOR Investment Partners SE (“SCOR IP”) is responsible for the development of the company’s third-party asset management business, and encompasses Sales, Marketing & Communications and Strategic Distribution Partnerships.
Reporting to the Head of Intermediated Markets, the Institutional Sales Associate (Intermediated Markets) is responsible for supporting the development of SCOR IP’s institutional client base in intermediated markets (UK, Switzerland, Denmark, Netherlands, Nordics, Australia), and are a key SCOR IP contact for clients in those markets. They will additionally be responsible for developing a defined prospect list in partnership with other members of the Intermediated Markets team. Intermediated markets are a central focus in the medium to long-term development of SCOR IP’s third-party asset management franchise.

Key duties and responsibilities
The Institutional Sales Associate (Intermediated Markets) duties span across the following areas:
- Promotion and marketing of SCOR IP and SCOR IP’s investment strategies towards clients and prospects:
- Work closely with other members of the Intermediated Markets team in developing SCOR IP’s business in the targeted regions
- Independent prospecting across a defined target list
- Monitoring of RFPs and, when appropriate, preparation of SCOR IP’s replies to clients’ / prospects’ requests in cooperation with the Marketing department
- Onboarding of new clients in cooperation with the Client Service department
- Contribution to the intermediated markets strategy to address:
- Identification of targets and relevant products,
- Extending reach and monetising global consultant relationships within the targeted region
- Sharing feedback regarding the competition and SCOR IP’s offering in the area
- Coordination of Intermediated Markets team ‘insights’ including market studies, activity analysis and internal reporting
Based in Paris or Zurich, the Institutional Sales Associate (Intermediated Markets) will work in collaboration with the rest of the sales team and, notably, work in close collaboration with the RFP and Client Service teams within the broader Business Development function.
You will contribute to achieve the goals set, both quantitatively and qualitatively for the Intermediated Markets team and will assist in tracking relevant sales activity using the various tools used by SCOR IP.
You aim at developing a high level of expertise and acts with integrity, honesty, loyalty and collaboration within the company, consistent with the OneSCOR culture.
Required experience & competencies
- ~ 5 years experience
- Bilingual – English (fluent) plus one other language
- Investment industry experience, technical preferred
- Strong written language skills
- International experience favoured
- Team player
Required Education
Bachelor degree in finance
