About the role

  • Our EPC Commissioning team, composed of four people, is integrated into the Soda Ash and Derivatives business unit External Workforce Department.

  • As a Health, Safety, and Environment Coordinator, you will be in charge of evaluating the safety aspects during inspections during the various inspections (SSN and SAN inspections), carrying out controls and tests in the field, validating work permits for commissioning activities in collaboration with all those involved in those activities.

  • You will be accountable for:

  • Risk Assessment / Work Authorization

  • Document Management / Training / Empowerment

  • Leading the safety implementation on a daily basis

  • Coordinate Activities

  • Standard Operating Procedures

  • Reporting

  • We offer an 18-month fixed-term contract based on onsite working mode.

About you

  • 10 years of experience as a Health, Safety, and Environment preventer in a similar role in an industrial environment.

  • Competencies:

  • Fluency in French and English is mandatory. Any other language is a plus

  • Knowledge of the regulations relating to sites energized with energized electrical systems (LV or HV), and process equipment in service or with automatic start in transient or permanent mode (according to decree 92)

  • Knowledge of Decree 94 is also significant due to the co-activity between construction and commissioning over a large part of the contract period

  • Chemical Risk (knowledge and prevention) – French equivalent training N1/RC1

  • Safety accreditation of external companies – French equivalent training N2/RC2

  • Methodology for risk assessment

  • Methodology for root causes analysis

  • Behaviors:

  • Interpersonal relation

  • Pedagogy skills

About the pay and benefits

  • Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the primary country base pay reasonably expected for this role is 47,000.00 € to 70,000.00 €, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and other incentives.
