Python DeveloperLocation: London (Hybrid Remote – 3 days on site)We’re seeking a skilled Python Developer to join our financial client in London, contributing expertise in SQL, Python, and ideally, Javascript & VBA. This role involves crafting innovative solutions and harnessing diverse AWS services.Key Requirements:

• High level of experience in both SQL and Python programming (10+ years)
• Experience managing data engineering pipelines using Apache Airflow
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and automation
• Git proficiency for version control (branching strategies and repo management)
• Competent in monitoring tools such as AWS CloudWatch
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools like Terraform
• Knowledge of AWS backup and disaster recovery solutions

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in React, Angular, Node.js, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Exposure to Agile, Kanban, Scrum, DevOps, and CI/CD tools
• Strong problem-solving abilities and logical reasoning skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Effective team collaboration and self-management capabilities
• Exceptional attention to detail and adept at handling conflicting perspectives
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Desired Skills (Optional):

• Experience with C# programming
• Understanding of low-latency trading infrastructure
• Proficiency in crafting RESTful APIs and using data visualisation tools like Power BI/Tableau
