To find out more about our journey .Who You Are / Your Next ChallengeWe are currently looking for a Company Secretary to join our Legal team on a full-time and permanent basis. This exciting opportunity is based in our London office in Victoria, and the role directly reports to the Head of Legal. As a Company Secretary, you will work alongside the wider legal team to provide legal support to the UK business and the broader international Moneycorp Group.The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team and work in a fast-paced environment, catering to a diverse mix of stakeholders with varying needs. Therefore, the ideal candidate should be a self-starter, as there is an opportunity to make an immediate and tangible contribution to the Group’s cost management and define how it works across the organization.What we’re looking for / Skills that will help you in the role

  • Commercial legal experience essential.
  • Legal degree-level or company secretarial-specific qualification (e.g. ICSA) a benefit.
  • An understanding of the financial services industry preferable.
  • Ability to multi-task with accuracy
  • High-level of attention to detail
  • Proficient at establishing credibility quickly and building relationships at all levels, influencing a range of senior stakeholders and challenging decision making to help drive continuous improvements.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (both oral and written), stay calm and work well under pressure to meet competing deadlines.
  • Solution-focused approach and the ability to make objective/ evidence based decisions and influence recommendations and decisions using insights.
  • Consultative style with the ability to breakdown complex information to suit target audience.
  • Resilient to change, adapting to and supporting new situations with confidence.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with ability to think independently and draw conclusions.
  • Ability to minute meetings accurately
  • Good time-management
