Welcome to the home of Sainsbury’s Tech, where you can be part of our collective journey and make a meaningful difference.What you’ll doAs a Product Owner at Sainsbury’s, you will play a crucial role in shaping our technology vision, investment choices, and roadmap in collaboration with the Business Owner and Engineering team. Your focus will be on delighting our customers by bridging the worlds of technology and supply chain. This role will involve working with colleagues from across the Supply Chain division to enhance our supply chain capability, ensuring it can rapidly adapt to evolving customer shopping habits. You will oversee a varied portfolio, encompassing both legacy systems and greenfield innovations, and will collaborate with internal agile teams as well as external partners and vendors. Your responsibilities will include guiding teams with clear communication and focused objectives, leveraging various methods and templates for Product ownership, and staying abreast of modern Software Delivery Lifecycle and DevSecOps practices. An understanding of data streaming technologies and cloud-native event-driven architectures will be valuable. Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, as well as the ability to analyse and solve problems logically, will thrive in this role. Effective stakeholder management and excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence a diverse cross-section of stakeholders, are important.
