Offer DescriptionThe PIRAMES project aims to develop security approaches promoting the secure use of mobile devices in e-health. It aims to create innovative models ensuring the confidentiality of medical exchanges, crucial in a context where protecting sensitive data is a major challenge to comply with European standards, particularly GDPR. The developed models will be based on the identification of data leakage channels and attack scenarios, thereby contributing to a resilient approach to security challenges.The evolution of mobile devices, such as smartphones, smartwatches, and fitness trackers, has paved the way for a plethora of customizable applications in various fields. Smartwatches, in particular, are particularly well-suited for sports activities by collecting biomedical indicators useful for assessing the health of users, including patients or elderly individuals.The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the importance of mobile applications such as “TousAntiCovid” integrated into the population’s smartphones. This application has provided various services, including presenting vaccination certificates, disseminating information about the epidemic, and potentially detecting contamination through contact tracing.However, the collection of personal data, especially in the medical field, is often carried out without adhering to established security frameworks (ANSSI, GDPR, etc.). Our PIRAMES project addresses this issue by designing security models aimed at characterizing the risks associated with the use of mobile applications in e-health. These models will provide trust indicators to assess the use of personal data.In the context of our PIRAMES project, we aim to present intelligent solutions based on the following approaches:
- Implementation of impact analysis methods focused on data protection, evaluating the potential consequences of different actions on information security.
- Dedicated solutions for proactive identification of data leaks, accompanied by protective measures aimed at preventing and countering these security incidents.
- Advanced methods of data identification and classification, focusing on personally identifiable information (PII) and its sensitivity.
- Utilization of concepts from graph theory, including construction, overlay, and establishment of similarity criteria, to optimize data structuring.
- Integration of elements and techniques of artificial intelligence, including Machine Learning and Deep Learning, to enhance the analysis and adaptability capabilities of our solutions.
- Development of approaches aiming to design, measure, and improve the resilience of application solutions, thereby ensuring their robustness against various challenges.
- Detailed description of the hardware architecture necessary to implement a software prototype, thus ensuring a practical and efficient implementation of our solutions.
- Design of innovative services, in strict compliance with GDPR regulations, guaranteeing data protection at all stages of their lifecycle.
- Development of software applications derived from our research solutions, offering concrete and functional applications designed to meet the specific needs of the e-health domain.
