- Study of interphases and interfaces on LMBs
- Understanding of the degradation mechanisms of lithium metal anodes by advanced characterization techniques
- Development of artificial SEI (ASEI)
- Electrochemical characterization of LMBs
Area: Electrochemical energy storage (EES)RequirementsSpecific RequirementsCANDIDATE PROFILE:
- PhD in Electrochemistry, Materials Science or similar. Applications with Doctor of Engineering with specialization in interphases and/or electrochemistry are also welcome
- Strong knowledge in interphase analysis on batteries.
- Strong knowledge in electrochemistry.
- Critical thinker and problem solver with preffered interest in technology transfer.
- Expertise on the development of artificial SEIs.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.
The following additional experience and skills will be highly valued:
- Expertise in Lithium metal batteries.
- Experience in anodeless cell concept development.
- Characterization techniques, such as SEM and/or XPS.
- A team player who can collaborate with other groups, technical centers, and industries.
