An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Company Secretary to join a Financial Services businessAssistant Company SecretaryLondonRole:
- Work with the Company Secretary to establish and embed a robust and sustainable Company Secretarial function that can support and advise the Bank’s Board of Directors
- Prepare and manage Board and Committee meetings; collating and distributing meetings packs, attending and minuting meetings and following up with actions
- Assist in the preparation and submission of annual returns, statutory forms, and other required documents.
- Coordinate and prepare materials for board meetings and annual general meetings.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within the business.
- Support in the implementation of corporate governance practices and principles.
- Manage the company’s records, including the register of members, directors, and secretaries.
- Provide professional advice and guidance on company law and governance matters.

- Relevant qualification in Law or Company Secretarial studies.
- Experience working in the financial services sector.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Highly proficient in using Microsoft Office and company secretarial software.
