  • doctoral degree in natural sciences (physics, biophysics), computer science, biomedical engineering or a related field of science (in accordance with the regulations of the National Science Center, a document certifying the doctoral degree may be provided at the time of signing the contract)
  • experience in the construction and calibration or operation of radiation detectors;
  • experience in advanced multi-level data analysis and Monte-Carlo simulations;
  • experience in advanced statistical inference and computer programming;
  • experience of working with radioisotopes.

We offer contract with the renumeration of 11 666,00 PLN per month brutto-brutto equivalent to about 7000 PLN on hand including social and health insuranceEligibility criteria

  • statement on acknowledging and accepting the rules and regulations concerning intellectual property management and commercialisation in force at the Jagiellonian University.

  • Review of the doctoral thesis or habilitation thesis – if the Candidate has;
  • At least two opinions on the candidate’s predispositions and qualifications for scientific work from a person with a doctoral degree (PhD supervisor, scientific supervisor, PI of the project in which the candidate was employed);
  • Diploma/certificate of completed training in working with laboratory animals.

Selection processThe first stage of the selection procedure is the formal assessment of the submitted documents. Applications which meet all formal requirements are the subject of substantive assessment, during which an interview with the Candidate may be conducted (directly or via electronic communication channels), upon settling the date of the interview with the Candidate. The Candidate has the right to appeal against the negative assessment by the selection board within 7 days from receiving the information about the results of the assessment.
