Senior Regulatory Data Specialist – Your future position?

As a Senior Regulatory Data Specialist for our Regulatory Ingredients Compliance Strategy CoE, you will ensure the reliability and integrity of regulatory data used for compliance and safety assessment within the Fragrance & Beauty Division. You will bring your knowledge and expertise to the team and translate into a true business partnership. You will report to the Regulatory Affairs Director.

  • Regulatory Data Integrity – Get a comprehensive understanding of the regulatory requirements applying to our industry and customers to ensure the compliance, accuracy and completeness of our data within our regulatory database for our fragrance ingredients. Propose and implement data management protocols, conduct regular audits and collaborate with Regulatory experts to interpret and apply evolving regulations.
  • Regulatory Partnership – Be the Regulatory Expert for managing the manufactured ingredients. Support Operational activities from a regulatory perspective and provide guidance to Operational teams by translating regulatory requirements into clear and comprehensible insights. Ensure informed decision-making and foster a culture of compliance throughout the organization.
  • Analytical Expertise – Acquire information necessary to guarantee product compliance. Understand new industry regulations and customer requirements to determine necessary changes needed to manage them in compliance systems. In collaboration with our Process Innovation Expert, manage our master data set, develop reports, run audits and make recommendations to company partners to define Regulatory strategy and contribute to business growth.
  • Global Project Management – Participate in global regulatory data integrity projects related to regulatory, toxicology or product safety. Lead or take part of the development of innovative tools and PC-based solutions to meet Regulatory and customer requirements and in the definition and implementation of process improvement.

Your professional profile includes:

  • Advanced University / MS Degree / Ph. D in scientific field (toxicology, biochemistry, chemistry or related areas) with skills in organic and analytical chemistry
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant industry experience in product safety or relevant scientific area and regulatory affairs
  • Regulatory Affairs experience in consumer product regulation and chemical regulations globally
  • Knowledge of Chemical Control Legislations with a good understanding of REACH
  • Regulatory Database management
  • Affinity for information systems with preference for SAP skills – Advanced proficiency in Microsoft excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets).
  • Project management skills
