Prologis is seeking a Project Manager for its Essentials business who will be instrumental in delivering the Essentials products and services purchased by our customers. The successful candidate is a top producer with strong project, program, and vendor management skills, coupled with proven sales development experience.
What is Prologis Essentials?
Prologis Essentials is Prologis’s new business line focused on understanding our customers’ needs in order to develop and deliver new value-add programs, products, and services that optimize their warehouse and supply chain operations. In this role, you’ll lead projects to set up turn-key warehouses with useful products like racks, mezzanines and cooling systems. Next to this you’ll help customers optimize their spaces using among others LED lights and heat pumps. You’ll also guide the move-out process by coordinating and planning with partners. Projects vary in size from 0.2M to 10M.
Prologis Essentials is re-defining industrial real estate by designing the first warehousing-as-a-service customer experience. We are adding tremendous value for our customers beyond our real estate portfolio and positioning Prologis as a needed expert in providing turnkey industrial warehouse infrastructure solutions. Prologis Essentials is effectively a startup but is growing rapidly and already making an impact on the industry.

What’s needed in order to do that?
- Own project execution and delivery for our lighting, material handling, and services businesses including operational KPI’s; such as delivery time, project margin, and customer satisfaction.
- (Technical) Project Management varying from the implementation of new product solutions or fit-out works to a complete a move-in or move-out
- Lead a team of architects, consultants, installers and contractors to develop tenant improvement plans and make ready works. Monitor creation of construction and design documents by external consultants to ensure deliverables are met on time and within budget and quality expectations.
- Manage the permitting process and all necessary- approvals from local authorities
- Play a key role in establishing effective and efficient program management principles including continuous improvement, cost reduction, quality standards, and cross-functional partnerships.
- Drive alignment of cross functional teams for market planning efforts inclusive of preliminary project scope discussion, portfolio reviews, site visits and weekly project meetings.
- Negotiates fees, schedules and scope with external vendors and consultants for all projects within their assigned region.
- Collaborate with our technology teams and other business stakeholders to automate the flow of information, improve communication, and enable proactive decision making for the management team.
Tell us if you’re ready:
- Have a customer centric mindset that focuses on solving customer pain points by providing products and services that meet the customers need.
- 3-5 years’ experience in project management, construction management, or program management and a validated history of delivering results.
- Effective leadership and team-building skills.
- Very comfortable speaking and presenting proposals to high-profile business leaders, both internal and external.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
- Collaborative and consultative approach with outstanding communication skills. (verbal and written)
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with strong desire to deliver results.
- Strong analytical, construction and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back-up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.
- Experience in Property Improvements, Tenant Improvements and Renovations such as LED lighting, heat pumps, Racking or material handling business is an advantage, but not a requirement for the correct candidate.
- Proficient with or ability to quickly learn new technologies (i.e. Excel, MS Project, Google Earth, ACAD viewer, and Smartsheet)
- Fluency in written and spoken French & English required.
- Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
