Job title:
Numerical methods for environmental monitoring models based on differential and integral equations
Company:
Job description
Offer DescriptionThe research activity is related to the project “Technologies for climate change adaptation and quality of life improvement” (Tech4You), Spoke 6, Goal 6.3, Pilot Project 6.3.1, lasting three years with deadline 31st December 2025. The aim of the activity is to develop stable and convergent numerical methods for both linear and non-linear integral equations, equivalent to differential models arising in environmental monitoring. This is to strengthen the projects resulting from the thematic spokes with numerical experiments. Global approximation methods will be studied, essentially based on the use of polynomial projectors and quadrature/cubature formulas built starting from the polynomial approximation. Previously it will be necessary to address problems of existence and uniqueness of the solutions of the equations under study.RequirementsAdditional InformationEligibility criteria– Second level (master) degree in Mathematics (LM 40-Mathematics classes), master degree in Mathematics, second level degree obtained abroad recognized as equivalent according to current legislation.
