Join us and create remarkable stories with corporate clients!Some of the things you’ll be doing:As a Legal Associate you’ll play an important role in the success of our business. During your typical workday, you’ll be involved in a wide range of diverse and dynamic projects including:
- Working directly with our international clients and potential clients, analysing and interpreting documents, regulations, and procedures (including KYC and compliance requirements) in relation to our clients’ legal and tax opportunities.
- Establish and maintain French client companies, manage corporate administration, and other back-office requirements to keep these French companies in good standing (corporate housekeeping).
- With a local legal expert, you will draft corporate secretarial documents related to client companies including standard services agreements.
- Your main mission is to oversee the entire cycle of a company life, from its registration until its liquidation.
- You will have to prepare the appropriate corporate and legal documentation and to prepare all mandatory fillings at the Commercial Register.
- You will also be responsible for the KYC and AML processes and obligations, including the preparation of the onboarding file, the preparation of a complete KYC file and the monitoring of client’s transactions to ensure our AML obligations.
- You report to the Business Unit Manager Corporate Clients
What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?
- Two or more years of work experience in an international company, law firm, tax or accounting firm
- Comprehensive knowledge of French (corporate) law
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- High motivation and hands-on mentality
- Fluency in French and English
- A degree in corporate / business law, preferably from a French university
- Ideally a good knowledge of formalities at the Commercial Register and a client service team spirit
As an entry-level Legal Associate, you’ll start by supporting clients, handling administrative tasks, and building strong relationships. With dedication and demonstrated expertise, you’ll progress to become a Senior Legal Associate, taking on more complex client portfolios and leading a team. As your experience grows, you may be promoted to an Associate Director role, where you’ll have broader responsibilities, overseeing multiple client portfolios, and actively contributing to business development. Your exceptional performance may then lead you to the position of Director, where you’ll take charge of strategic planning, manage key client accounts, and play a vital role in the Corporate Clients division’s growth. For exceptional achievers, the career path could lead to becoming a Vice President or Executive Director, assuming senior leadership roles and shaping the vision and strategy for the Corporate Clients team.
