Ranked in the top quartile of the research-intensive business schools in the UK, SBS has an ambitious growth plan, which includes investments in people and relocation to a state of art business building.About the Department of Digital and Data Driven MarketingThe Department of Digital and Data Driven Marketing brings together internationally renowned academics who undertake research into, and teach, a wide range of Digital and Data Driven Marketing -related topics. The Department is supported by the research centre: Centre for Marketing Research, where staff are actively engaged in cross-disciplinary research. The Department’s courses are consistently ranked high, amongst the top 10 in the UK (4th in the Guardian League Table 2022; Top 10 in Complete University Guide, 2023; Top 100 in QS World, 2023). Currently, comprising of 23 academics, the department’s teaching and research interests include digital marketing, sustainable innovations, marketing strategy, artificial intelligence, influencers, consumer behaviour, brand management, luxury marketing, entrepreneurship, and marketing analytics. The department members have published their research in top-tier journals including, the Journal of Retailing, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of World Business, AI and Society, Harvard Business Review, Journal of Business Research, and Industrial Marketing Management, among others. The department has a thriving undergraduate and postgraduate portfolio, which is built around the research strengths and focus of the department staff.About youAs an Associate Professor you will play a central role in planning and shaping one or more research area/s in the marketing department. You will bring to the role a strong professional reputation, including the ability to produce world class research through a sustained publication record in leading international academic journals. You may have led major funding bids, setting up, and managing the resources needed to deliver the research project. You will act as a leader and ambassador for us across management and enterprise or other engagement activities.You will be an experienced educator with proven track record of high-quality teaching, able to contribute to the development of education policy and practice and able to design and develop courses and programmes at all levels (UG, MSc, MBA and Executive Education).
