Submission of a research plan outlining the Candidate’s scientific development including plans for internships and training abroad. Submission of a teaching proposal that complements the Faculty’s existing offerings. Understanding issues in the field of plant biology, particularly focusing on physiology and quantitative genetics. Understanding experimental techniques, including high-throughput methods, used to investigate the aforementioned topics, encompassing genome-wide association studies, transcriptomic analyses also at the population level, and studies utilizing high-throughput phenotyping methods. Experience in obtaining research funding. Prior teaching experience; experience in popularizing science isalso desirable.
