Description

The primary responsibility of an Account Manager is to proactively grow and retain revenue of assigned customer accounts and/or of an assigned territory, through mining and identifying new opportunities within existing customer companies and prospects, and liaising with internal engineering support whilst maintaining customer relationships with existing contacts.

What you’ll do:

  • Consistently develop and nurture a pipeline of new business (additional contacts/opportunities within existing customer accounts and newly introduced contacts/companies)
  • Implement action plans to generate new sales within multiple existing customer companies
  • Identify new business opportunities by profiling prospective companies
  • Achieve outbound calls, connects, pipeline, and close rate expectations
  • Support the Customer Service team, Application Engineers and Quality teams as required to ensure 100% customer satisfaction

What it takes:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a customer facing role
  • Ability to understand and communicate the technical aspects of Protolabs services
  • Ability to multi task and prioritise workload
  • Able to work in a fast paced, goal orientated environment
  • Resilient, Strong objection handling skills 
  • Independent, dependable, resourceful and self-motivated
