Description

CONTEXT

AXA GO Commercial Finance department is in charge of Revenue accountability and communication with AXA entities using AXA GO services, billing and cash collection, and cost allocation rules across products.

POSITION MISSIONS & MAIN ACTIVITIES

Within Commercial Finance, the Costing team is responsible for costing and recharging modelization per product and AXA entities, as well as overseeing financial development of costs & revenues per IT lines of Products. 

The commercial finance costing expert is responsible for

  • Costing and pricing modelization:
  • Define business rules and allocation keys related to product costing and recharging
  • Define variability rules on IT products jointly with product manager 
  • Ensure the maintenance and the consistency across tools (controlling tool, Volume, and costing/Recharging tool)
  • Ensure involvement and communication of all Business & Finance contributors:
  • Coordinate the application of costing and recharging guidelines according to closing and budgeting process 
  • Act as business partners of Product owners, managers, Finance contributors and support them in exchanges with external and internal customers
  • Cost accounting improvement
  • Define, improve analytics on costs, intra company flows, revenues
  • Ensure the communication and application of rules :
  • Supporting IT Project Managers for quotation & recharging, including specific financial business plans

The position directly reports to the Head of Costing Team.

The global role requires to interact with an extensive scope of senior stakeholders both functionally and geographically. Total revenues to communicate and secure is approx. 1bn€, through more than 40 different AXA entities across the globe.

Qualifications

PROFILE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

The candidate be recognized in his financial and analytical skills, his abilities to communicate in a matrix organization. 

Group Operations has a renewed and strong focus on controlling and financial transparency towards AXA entities. The use of a structured tool, Anaplan, the product/market/finance matrix of responsibilities at the operational level also requires a finance candidate with proven track record in controlling and budgeting in a global context.

These skills should be priorities. Below is a more detailed view of the required skills:

  • Financial skills, excellent analytical skills, understanding of business economics,
  • Good knowledge of data analysis
  • Problem-solving skills, able to work with details while making quick synthesis and summaries
  • Good level of understanding of IT service delivery a plus
  • Power BI a plus strongly welcome
  • Appetite for tools
  • Not afraid to discover new tools and imagine new solutions

Soft skills

  • Capacity to deal with uncertainty – adaptability
  • Able to work in autonomy
  • The role requires excellent relational skills to interact fluently and efficiently with various teams from different background and context (finance teams, IT teams in GO, teams from AXA entities)
  • Delivery orientation is a must, with high level of rigor and integrity.
  • Able to work in a matrix organization, functional management and remote management

Language skills

  • English and French fluency

Education and experience

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Management, Engineering, Finance, Economics
  • 5-10 years experience
