Job description:

The Mobile Equipment Maintenance Senior Expert provides technical support, best practices in performance improvement and the application of standards to our mining sites on mobile equipment maintenance.

You will report to the Head of Processes & Assets Management in the Central Technical Division.

Frequent travel is required (50% of the time).

Responsibilities :

• Provide technical and methodological support to mine site maintenance managers and railroad operators
• Help set up the World Class Maintenance program (part of the Eramet Production System)
• Define maintenance standards for mining equipment and rolling stock and ensure their application (audit)
• Monitoring of KPIs related to mining asset management
• Assisting mine sites with the engineering aspects of internal projects, solving operating problems and starting up installations
• Monitor capital expenditure requirements for mining sites, in line with performance
• Be a benchmark for the best industrial practices on the reliability of our mining sites
• Build, lead and develop a network of mine maintenance referents, with a view to promoting and converging best practices (ICG: International Competency Groups).
• Participate in cross-functional maintenance working groups

Your Profile:

With a Master 2 or engineering degree, you have at least 15 years’ experience, including a large part in maintenance on mining sites.

You also have the following skills:

• Good knowledge of mobile mining equipment
• Knowledge of Operational Excellence methods
• Ability to work cross-functionally and internationally – intercultural sensitivity
• Ability to listen, to synthesize, to federate and to animate
• Fluent English and an intermediate level of French are essential
