Intern/Apprentice – Knowledge Management Specialist

The primary mission of the Revenue Operations, Marketing & Strategy division is to unlock potential for revenue growth by connecting people, processes and data across the entire revenue funnel. The Knowledge Management team is in charge of internal upskilling activities aiming to strengthen Amadeus team members’ proficiency in product knowledge related to Travel Distribution.

Purpose:

The incumbent will contribute to the execution of initiatives that aim to upskill Amadeus employees dealing with the Travel Distribution product portfolio. This will be done by contributing to our “DNA program”: DNA: Develop our knowledge, Navigate our portfolio, Achieve our and our customer’s goals. The DNA program is a core element of the Revenue Operations strategy and a key commercial enabler for the Travel Unit (TRU) commercial entities. Therefore, building and running such a program has direct links with business performance, provides a great deal of internal visibility and interaction and, is a unique opportunity to maximize the value and the depth of our IT portfolio.

The incumbent will support the team for all the steps of the product learning solutions: creation, deployment, delivery and reporting.

Main objectives:

  • Participate to the needs analysis for product knowledge sharing/upskilling 
  • Contribute to the creation of learning programs that are product specifics and learner specifics in term of content: recorded video, live webinar sessions, practice sessions, quiz, validation tests.
  • Contribute to the implementation of the learning programs in the dedicated tool
  • Support the team during the execution of the learning program: host sessions, ensure learners attendance and engagement
  • Identify and analyze best practices from internal and external sources that could be replicated in the team
  • Contribute to streamline the learning program processes inside the team: create and update processes used when needed, identify potential improvements, and update the documentation accordingly
  • Build relations with team members and all actors of the project

Requirements

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Knowledge Management, Training and development, Business, Product Management, Marketing or other related field.

Industry and business understanding as a plus.

Capability to quickly understand, use and support others on various tools.

Fast learner, excited about learning new things.

Good communication and positive attitude and effective in working in a multi-actor team across multiple sites and in a multi-cultural environment.

Diligence to produce quality deliverables and attention to detail.

Values joining a dynamic team that values engagement, interactions, collaboration and innovation and new ideas.

Languages: Excellent level of English (verbal, written).

Performance Indicators:

Quality, timeliness and acceptance of work by Management.

Completion of programs/initiatives as per plan. Participant/Management satisfaction and feedback.
