Description

Purpose: 

Act as a strategic partner for one or several divisions / departments, advising and translating the business needs into HR priorities and plans, in alignment with the GO HR Strategy.

Primary missions: 

  • Engage with most complex perimeters Leaders and Managers(reorg/transformation context, team collaboration or management issues…) to provide HR advice on business challenges
  • Act as a key change agent to support business transformation and reorganization
  • Contribute to define and drive HR plans and yearly HR cycles: workforce planning, compensation calibrations, reorganization, cultural shift, talent segmentation…
  • Act as HR escalation point in its perimeter in case of necessary arbitration and complex HR cases
  • Act as a individual advisor towards the Department Heads to support them in positioning themself, and build a high performing team
  • Ensure business “voice of customer” is reflected in GOT services (employee/manager journey)

Specific activities: 

1. Functional knowledges: deep knowledge of HR processes and operations, basic knwoledge on HR solutions (technology), advanced advisory and coaching skills to support managers, HR legal and social knowledge (individual cases), market watch and practices

2. Management or leadership activities: participation in division and department leadership team meetings, manage segments HR stream (techies/PM/Product Management communities…)

3. Impacts on teams, businesses or AXA GO: supports GO transformation and reorganization, participate to related projects and programs (HR streams management & ownership)

4. Technical proficiency: process implementation in matrix and multicultural environment, HR analytics usage to generate people insights and influence decisions

5. Stakeholder management: heads of departments, Department LT meetings, ability to build collaborative relationships with internal customers, capacity to influence leadership decisions

Qualifications

Profile

  • Strong HR background with proven experience on HR practices and processes including Compensation, Resourcing, Training and Development and Employment Law knowledge. 
  • Strategic thinking to deal with complex transformations with the right balance on effective delivery and change adoption feasibility.
  • Capable to advise Managers. At ease in project management practices in complex and multicultural environment.

Technical skills:

  • Deep knowledge of HR processes (recruitment, salary administration, compensation & benefits, performance management) and issues (domestically and regionally).
  • Strategic vision on HR solutions.
  • Management and coaching skills to support managers
  • Project analysis and follow-up.

  • Ability to work in a matrix environment & with senior managers
  • Strong multi-cultural understanding and application
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with both internal customers and program/project stakeholders
  • Facilitation, negotiation and influencing skills to achieve results in a matrix management environment

  • Ability to drive global results while remaining sensitive to local environments and cultural issues
  • Ability to onboard HR consultant team around a clear vision and common sense of purpose
  • Ability to implement processes, resources and objectives which support both short and long-term goals
  • Sense of urgency and efforts redirection if necessary to maintain sound time-management of programs and projects
