Located on the edge of the Palace of Versailles Park, in a true green setting, the Waldorf Astoria Versailles – Trianon Palace offers its guests the opportunity to discover 199 rooms and suites within the Trianon Palace ***** as well as its Pavilion** **; a brasserie restaurant “La Véranda” and its gallery bar, a starred gastronomic restaurant “Gordon Ramsay”; lounges and conference centers for organizing various events; as well as a fitness center and its luxurious Guerlain Spa.

STAR RESTAURANT – GORDON RAMSAY

Our Michelin-starred restaurant – Gordon Ramsay – invites its guests to a feast for the senses to enjoy exquisite French cuisine in a poetic setting overlooking the Palace of Versailles Park.

Our restaurant is exclusively open from Tuesday to Saturday for dinner.

  • Position to be filled as soon as possible on a permanent basis
  • 2 consecutive days of rest – no break
  • Available during the week and on weekends

YOUR MISSIONS

Customer relations

• You are responsible for customer satisfaction,

• You provide a warm and personalized welcome to customers,

• You offer attentive service adapted to the customer’s constraints,

• You pay attention to the customer’s comments and follow them up,

• You establish good relationships with the customer, advise them and build their loyalty,

• You highlight your catering offer.

Business/production technique

• You participate in the evening service,

• You organize and control the work of your line clerks, apprentices and interns,

• You master the menu and the products,

• You carry out and control:

o setting up the point of sale and rear areas,

o cleaning and tidying up the room and the back areas after the service.

• You inform yourself before each start of service about the composition of the dishes and possible shortages,

• You adapt your organization, pace of work and your relationships according to the traffic and the type of customer,

• You ensure the sustainability of the equipment made available.

Commercial / Sales

• You are proactive and advise the client on the various services,

• You are attentive and respect the customer’s request,

• You develop the turnover of its point of sale,

• You contribute to customer loyalty through your quality of service.

Management

• You are involved in achieving the objectives of your department:

o respecting the procedures and internal controls applied in the hotel,

o by developing sales.

• You comply with invoicing and collection procedures,

• You contribute to the good management of dishes and small equipment by avoiding breakage,

• You participate in inventories.

Hygiene / Personal safety / Environment

• You ensure the cleanliness of the workplace and food safety by respecting HACCP hygiene rules on a daily basis,

• You respect the instructions for use and safety of the equipment provided.

Required profile

  • Sense of interpersonal skills and team spirit,
  • You have at least 1 year of experience in luxury catering or hotels,
  • Sense of contact and service,
  • Sense of detail and quality,
  • Ability to listen and dialogue,
  • Strong organizational and precision skills,
  • Mastery of French and English,
  • Authorization to work in France required
