Job Description:

a new position for a Digital Sourcing & Contract Manager has arisen to Airbus Defense & Space. You will joun the Digital Portfolio & Governance department.

Main Tasks:

Strategic

  • Define and maintain the Sourcing Strategy for Digital (including multiyear sourcing roadmaps)
  • Support the definition of a general approach for DIGITAL Make Or Buy Strategy and out-sourcing optimization
  • Maintain the strategic and operational Supplier Governance framework for DIGITAL

Sourcing and Contract Management

  • To lead major bids (as core member of the MFT- Multi-Functional Team ), support the team during the tender process for DIGITAL (Information Management) services and development projects and evaluate impact of strategic sourcing decisions
  • To prepare reports on contracts, spend, savings and suppliers performance in alignment with key stakeholders
  • To support the operational digital teams with know-how and best-practice to define requirements and statements of work (waterfall, agile, devops, run)
  • To manage compliance to the procurement process, tracking and reporting and to propose mitigation actions in case of deviations
  • To manage the Sourcing and Contract Management internal Community (publication of news, trainings and best practices)

Supplier Performance Management

  • Setup and maintain Supplier Performance Management Framework (Processes, Methods & Tools)
  • Manage supplier steering’s
  • Develop and control Transformation and continuous improvement activities along the contract LiveCycle

Requirements:

  • Proficient oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish
  • Lead multi functional teams and ability to interface with internal and external parties
  • Supplier Management, Sourcing processes and tools knowledge
  • Supplier Performance Management from a strategic and operational view 
  • IT Background with process know how in Information Technology Infrastructure Library and/or IT-project management 
  • International experience
