Job Summary
As a member of the EuMEA Fixed Wings & Military Helicopters organization, the channel Value Stream Leader (VSL) leads the IPT through the life cycle responsibility for fixed wings & military helicopters programs in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EuMEA) regions. This includes business pursuit and capture, program executions, customer delivery and support. As such, you will be accountable for sales and profit objectives. Due to the nature of the programs, the channel VSL could be located either in France (Blagnac) or in the USA (Cedar Rapids).
Qualified candidates should have a strong background in avionics products and systems and project management with experience leading and managing complex product or system developments. Successful candidates will demonstrate an ability to apply strategic insight and critical thinking in solving complex problems. Candidates will also balance technical knowledge and business acumen to manage assigned programs.
Job Responsibilities
- Works with an international (USA and Europe) Integrated Program Team (IPT) on Pursuit & Order Capture (P&OC) including most important requirements, competitive face-off, customer contact plans and related action
- Leads decision making for the IPTs and applying critical thinking where incomplete data exists
- Develops internal and external networks and effectively communicates and motivates a team
- Communicates vision for their IPT and stakeholders within and outside of the function
- Leads international programs to ensure adherence to program plans, schedule and budgets for programs under his/her responsibility and recommends appropriate adjustments, with the accountability for meeting financial, contractual and performances goals
- Develops strong relationship with Customers to execute flawlessly the programs, through Program Management Review, Scope monitoring and negotiation, Milestone achievement, Cash collection, Sales forecast, …
- Identifies and cultivate opportunities with customer to grow market share
- Monitors and reports internally progress against financial objectives
- Leads program status reviews to senior leadership and executive level when required
- Supports preparation of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Strategic & Financial Plan (S&FP)
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree or equivalent, with significant experience in the business engineering domains and/or Program Management
- English fluent
