As a Compliance Specialist you will reinforce the Compliance team and contributes to the smooth running of WU’s compliance program, the performance of network compliance checks and training, the detection, analysis, and reporting of suspicious activity, in accordance with WU policies and procedures, and within the framework of AML-CFT.

Role Responsibilities

  • Review and submission of regulatory compliance reports.
  • Management and follow-up of compliance committees.
  • Participation in the annual update of the risk mapping, and the identification of checkpoints.
  • Process requests received from the different departments.
  • Ensure legal and regulatory monitoring.
  • Carrying out compliance program reviews of network and independent locations.
  • Participation in the detection, analysis, and reporting of possible suspicious activities, following WU policies and procedures, and within the framework of AML-CFT.

Role Requirements

  • Higher education (e.g. Law, Banking, Insurance, Commerce).
  • +1 years experience in compliance.
  • Communication skills with proficiency in English and French languages (written and oral).
  • Willing to travel up to 10% within Paris area – driving license is a plus.
  • Analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Organizational competencies.
  • A mastery of Microsoft Pack Office (including Excel).
  • Ability to understand and apply complex legal regulations.
  • Ability to work in a team and independently.
  • Discretion and confidentiality.
