Team Introduction
We are seeking a highly skilled advertising lawyer to join our Legal Commercial team based across Europe (Berlin, Milan, Madrid and Paris). This team provides a broad range of legal support to the business including TikTok’s advertising sales, operations, marketing and user growth teams in the region.
Responsbilities
Based in Paris, you will primarily support the commercial teams covering France & Benelux, and in particular the advertising sales, operations, marketing and user growth teams. You will also work closely with subject matter experts within the Regional Legal Commercial team on wider and/or cross-functional projects to promote a scaled approach in assisting the business to meet its objectives.

You will primarily support the commercial teams by:
- Engaging strong analytic capabilities to advise on legal risks, business strategies and other issues related to ad sales, commercial incentives, content production, collaborations and sponsorships, marketing campaigns, initiatives to support creators, programs to drive users to the platform, live-streaming, etc.;
- Drafting, negotiating and/or explaining a wide variety of contracts;
- Regularly providing training sessions on key legal topics;
- Collaborating effectively with regional and cross-functional teams (including sales ops, finance, tax, product, data privacy) to provide legal input on everything from strategy to client queries;
- Creating templates, guidelines and training materials; identifying opportunities to improve existing processes, and developing and implementing strategies to scale and standardise the use of legal resources.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in-house and/or in a reputable law firm, working in the IP/IT, media, technology and/or advertising fields,
- Strong knowledge of, and interest in, IP/IT, advertising law, consumer law,
- Business level proficiency in French and English, as the role will support these regions.
Preferred Qualification
- Experience of supporting digital platforms is a plus.
- Exceptional team spirit, willing to help and take initiative.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
