At Nene Park Trust, our vision is to be the region’s favourite park, providing a permanent haven for
heritage and wildlife and a wide choice of recreational activities for the people of Peterborough and the wider community. The Trust manages over 1,725 acres of land, including a 500 acre country park, and a number of other informal green spaces.
As part of the Development Team, you will lead and support on the delivery of key strategic projects as identified in our 5-year Master Plan, including a construction-based project to deliver leisure facilities for visitors. Along with colleagues, partners and appointed professionals, you will deliver projects and
embed an organised, measured project management approach throughout the Trust’s work.
This fixed-term, full time role (up to 14 months maternity cover) is based at our head office in Ferry Meadows, with the ability for hybrid homeworking (minimum 2 days/week in the office). The role will encompass a variety of tasks including but not limited to
the following:
- Prepare, distribute and monitor project progress reports, documentation and communications
- Support a DEFRA funded project exploring investment models for regenerative farming and
Biodiversity Net Gain - Implement and report on business cases, providing the senior leadership team with data and
knowledge to make informed decisions and contribute to the preparation of reports to the Board
of Trustees
In addition, the ideal candidate will naturally demonstrate the following characteristics:
- Excellent writing and presentation skills with a keen eye for detail
- Able to distil complex information and drive forward actions
- Self-motivated and able to exercise initiative
