Are you passionate about nature and managing countryside sites in the heart of Exeter? Are you
excited about engaging people to become actively involved in managing Exeter City’s Valley
Parks?

We are looking for a motivated and skilled person who can manage the complex challenges of nine
nature reserves, ensuring sites are managed to the highest standard for both people and
wildlife.

You will lead on developing local community groups/support for all the key sites, developing a
sense of ownership and pride in the Valley Parks. You will also assist in developing a
long-term vision for the Valley Parks; there is a great opportunity to take stock and
re-envisage current management for key sites.

The successful candidate will need broad ranging experience in habitat management and
restoration, access provision and a detailed approach to ensuring public safety across all
sites.

The role is based at Cricklepit Mill but will also require working closely with reserve staff
based at Woodah Farm.

This is full-time, permanent post
based at Cricklepit Mill.

Interviews are being held on Monday 14 October.

We welcome candidates of all backgrounds and abilities who meet the essential criteria for this
role. We are an inclusive organisation that is seeking to involve more diverse audiences in our
work.
