Job Summary
Within Tetra Pak Additional Material Department, we are looking for a Maintenance Manager who supports the Management Team in achieving overall process and factory KPIs. As a Maintenance Manager, you will report to the Factory Director. This is a permanent position based in Chateaubriant in France.

Located in Chateaubriant, our facility is the heart of plastic cap production, churning out over 8 billion caps annually! With 32 assembly lines and 77 advanced injection molding machines operating around the clock, we pride ourselves on our highly automated processes and commitment to excellence.
What you will do
- Team Leadership: Lead people of around 30 maintenance professionals, focusing on their daily work and fostering their growth.
- Strategic Vision: Craft and implement a dynamic Maintenance Strategy while managing the budget and analyzing expenses.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Own the analysis of Maintenance KPIs and coordinate with external suppliers to ensure peak performance.
- Innovative Problem Solving: Guide engineers and technicians through troubleshooting and root cause analysis, providing valuable insights and follow-up.
- Collaborative Spirit: Partner with other operations departments on projects, enhancing our overall efficiency.
- Project Management: Oversee local projects related to machines and services, making a real impact on our operations.
WCM (World Class Manufacturing) Focus:
- Lead the PM Pillar: Take the lead as the PM pillar leader and play a key role in our local Steering Committee.
- Drive Excellence: Utilize WCM methodologies to eliminate breakdowns and champion initiatives that minimize technological losses.
We believe you have
- Technical education in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering while having experience in managing people and projects
- Passion for new projects and changing the status quo.
- Strong analytical mindset and set up easy-to-understand numbers.
- Skills to be a good collaborator; you speak up to share your view and listen to others’ inputs.
- Skills in in MS Office (Share Point, Teams, Power Automate, Power BI, etc.)
- Excellent skills in French and English, both written and spoken
