and in accordance with the UR Statutes correspond to the following eligibility criteria * fluency in spoken and written Polish;

  • a doctoral degree in forestry/forestry sciences obtained not more than 5 years before the date of the call for applications;
  • possession of a well-established scientific output in the field of forest ecology, soil science or silviculture as evidenced by publications in journals on the list of MEiN between 2019 and 2024;
  • participation and delivery of papers or presentation of posters at min. 5 scientific conferences;
  • experience in carrying out scientific research work confirmed by participation as a contractor in at least 3 scientific projects;
  • confirmed stay or research stays in a foreign scientific centre for a total period of at least one month;
  • experience in the field of university teaching – documented experience in preparing and conducting classes with students (in Polish) as an academic teacher;
  • willingness or desire for professional development to prepare and teach classes on ecological basics of silviculture and silviculture;
  • knowledge of English at B2 level with willingness for language development and self-improvement;
  • ability to carry out conception, design, scientific and research work, as demonstrated by participation in scientific or R&D projects (evidence of having applied for grants in the last 5 years);
  • documented pedagogical preparation (in case of lack of it, after employment the person will be obliged to supplement such qualifications within 3 years of employment);
  • ability to work as part of a team, communication skills, punctuality and dutifulness, willingness to self-improve and develop their competencies;
  • willingness to work in the field;
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office, knowledge of other specialised programmes (e.g. statistical, graphical, biochemical analyses)

Offers which pass formal verification are subject to substantive evaluation, during which an interview may be conducted (directly or via electronic communication channels), after prior arrangement of the date with the applicant.
