About the roleWe are looking for a HSE Manager to join the Leadership team, at our Taste & Nutrition Manufacturing facility, in Glamsbjerg. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will have full responsibility for the HS&E agenda for the plant and will play a key role onsite by providing an expertise across all aspects of HSE management, continuous improvement, and culture change.This is a permanent and full-time position.About KerryKerry is the world’s leading taste and nutrition company for the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries. A career with Kerry offers you an opportunity to shape the future of food while providing you opportunities to explore and grow in a truly global environment.What you’ll be doing?1/ Supports Factory Management teams– Advising management teams on legal requirements, industry best practice, and prevailing group standards.– Supports the site management teams by identifying, leading the actions, and reviewing environmental objectives and programmes, carrying out environmental compliance audits and maintaining records to demonstrate compliance with environmental legislation and other requirements.-Drive continuous improvement and target delivery across all key OHS and sustainability metrics including Lost Time, total recordable incidents, carbon, waste, water and compliance.-Represent the site/Company at local, regional or national H&S forums, exhibitions & conferences to obtain and improve safety awareness in the workplace-Support site management and decision making, and activity of the Site Management teams. wide initiatives and changes, in conjunction with the Factory Managers.2/ Drive the Safety agendaWorks in conjunction with site management and regional HR leads to drive the Safety agenda incorporating training, incident investigation, culture and staff involvement, administration, insurance compliance, setting and improving standards etc, and in accordance with wider employee engagement programmes.3/ Drives culture change / reinforcement of good safety cultures4/ Risk assessments5/ Incident investigations6/ Audits Site Health & Safety/Environmental7/ Site Health & Safety/environmental Policies & procedures8/ Environmental Management SystemsWhat you can bring to the role– Srong experience as a Health, Safety and Environment Practitioner preferably within a manufacturing environment– Demonstrated experience with local regulatory management.– Fluency in Danish and English – both written and spoken– Expertise in coaching individuals, leading projects and implementing cultural change– Excellent communication skills with ability to engage stakeholders at all levels– Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to safety and risk management.Kerry is an Equal Opportunities Employer.
