The team is the local leg of the Global CFA product line, headquartered in Milano and works closely with Global CFA teams in Italy, Germany and CEE countries.What you’ll be doing
- Lead as a manager the local CFA team of four colleagues, within the Advisory and Specialised Lending team
- Arrange and supervise the professional work of the team, active professional contribution is required
- Ensure client coverage in close co-operation with Global CFA and local Corporate Banking client coverage teams. Products covered are M&A, ECM, DCM across industries
- Originiate and thoroughly execute mandates jointly with Global CFA and client coverage teams. Products covered are M&A, ECM, DCM across industries
What you’ll need to succeed
- Degree preferably in Business or Economics
- 7-8 years of relevant professional experience in M&A, ECM and DCM transactions or Private Equity, ideally managerial experience of 2-3 years
- Experience working in an international environment and on multi-office project teams
- Managerial skills, capacity to think in context, shape the strategy of the CFA business
- Excellent English language skills
- Performance-oriented, flexible, resilient under stress
- Detective skills and street smarts
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Diplomacy and confidence in interactions with external/ internal clients
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
- Accounting and corporate finance background, fluency in using and interpreting basic valuation tools
- Basic knowledge and understanding of investment banking products and markets
- Deep familiarity with MS Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
- Knowledge of market intelligence databases (Thomson Reuters Eikon, MergerMarket, CapitalIQ, etc.)
