Our client is a global leader in the energy sector, navigating the transition to a sustainable future with a robust global presence. Join them now as a Senior DevOps Engineer!Main responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Credit Risk DevOps Manager, Tech Leads, and QA teams to design and execute test scenarios, aiming to automate where possible
- Work with global teams (BAs, QAs, Developers) to ensure efficient delivery by following change management processes and Agile practices (Kanban, scrums, retrospectives)
- Help standardize solutions by identifying common issues across business groups and converting business requirements into project test scenarios
- Coordinate with Scrum Master, Product Owner, and team members to address test coverage, triage failures, and resolve production issues
- Maintain project backlogs, generate test reports, and ensure the use of security and safety practices in all processes
Required skills:
- 5+ years of experience in solution design and implementation using languages like .NET, Python, and Databricks, with strong skills in database design, data modeling, and querying (PostgreSQL/SQL Server)
- Proficient in cloud computing platforms (AWS/Azure) and microservices/serverless architecture, with hands-on experience in Unix/Linux environments, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Experienced in continuous integration and delivery pipelines using Azure DevOps and Git, with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and testing abilities
- Strong communication skills, with practical experience creating mock-up screens, and data flow diagrams, and building user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks like Angular
- Proven ability to manage end-to-end project lifecycles, adapt to technical and business changes, and support large-scale IT environments with multiple technologies
