OnsitePurpose of Role:The Technical Sales Engineer is a field-based role to cover Italy, covering Italian territory. This offers a unique opportunity to become a key member of a new, dynamic and goal-oriented team growing our exposure in some of the largest Sand & Aggregate and Mines worth over 10m of business a year with the potential to contribute to the growth of the current defined territory.The successful applicant should be familiar with Minerals, Mining and Quarry Sectors.Why choose Weir:

  • Size and draft OE commercial offers in line with customers ‘expectation
  • Cross selling of the full product range for the sand and gravel, industrial and mining sectors
  • Develop existing customer into major / key accounts.
  • Advising customers on plant optimization and upgrades
  • Prospecting new customers in the sales territory
  • Working to agreed sales targets.
  • Maintain the CRM system for opportunities and sales pipeline.​
  • Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

  • Proven Track record in External technical Sales Role
  • Have a good working knowledge of the key related industries including sand and gravel, Mineral processing and industrial applications
  • Experience of Face to Face customer visits
  • Fluent in local language, English and PC literate
