International consulting group founded in 2019, Ekkiden fosters an ecosystem of passionate and committed consultants who lead organizational, operational, and technological transformation projects in IT/Digital, Industry/R&D, and Sustainability, for large enterprises and SMEs in France, Switzerland, Spain, and Germany.About the job : EDI Expert (job based in Barcelona)You will play a key role in managing EDI interactions between external partners and internal IT systems, including APIs and databases, ensuring seamless data integration and process automation.This is a technical position where you’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to maintain and optimize the company’s EDI environment in a high-paced, global environment.Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize EDI processes, ensuring seamless integration with internal IT systems and APIs.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve EDI-related issues to maintain data flow reliability and accuracy.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to align EDI solutions with business requirements.
• Design, develop, and maintain EDI mappings and workflows using industry-standard tools and protocols.
• Ensure compliance with retail/luxury sector standards and best practices for data exchange.

What we are looking for:

• Proven experience in managing EDI systems and processes .
• Strong technical knowledge of SQL and integration with IT systems/APIs.
• Familiarity with EDI standards such as EDIFACT, XML, ANSI X12, or similar.
• Experience in the retail/luxury sector or a related fast-paced environment is a plus.
