With revenues of more than $40 billion and the largest investment in R&D in the industry, we give our people the resources and chances to create significant contributions to the world.Location/Division Specific InformationThis position will be located in our Budapest center of excellence.How will you make an impact?The SAP Systems Analyst is responsible for assessing, estimating, supporting and handling the effective and efficient delivery of the Material Management, Production Planning and Quality management functional aspects of SAP projects, enhancements and service delivery (break/fix).What will you do?Assessment/blueprinting of enhancements and projects providing ensuring solutions meet or exceed business value propositions and meet architectural policies on SAP PP and QM modules.Effective and efficient delivery of all functional SAP Project Execution activity to ensure that it is delivered in consistent, harmonized and optimal manner within the guidelines of the Project Management Framework (PMF)On time delivery, quality and cost effectiveness of functional aspects within Enhancements and Projects, assessment requests and blueprintingDelivery and support of incident/break/fix and production supportSuccessfully handle the relationship with internal business partnersWork with various internal and external vendor teams to deliver Change Requests within established SLA’sCollaborate with other SAP Functional Experts – Project Execution to deliver a detailed global project execution model. Gather and effectively use data to deliver continuous improvement.Actively participate in project and enhancement reviews, maintain SLAsPartner with the Architecture team to design new solutions to meet business requirementsAble to articulate solution options and using SAP configuration creatively versus developing enhancementsPrepare functional specifications for conversions and enhancementsCoordinate with development team and supervise the progress of developing activities and updating the status with respective teamsProvide and support user training where appropriateCoordinate with Power/Super Users in resolving issues that arises during user trainingHelp in the management of Root Cause Analysis for service delivery issuesParticipate Major Incident Management (MIM) calls and Post-Mortem ReviewsHow will you get here?Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Project Management, Management Information Systems or equivalent work experience acceptable.Minimum of 1-3 years of SAP project execution experience2-4 years of experience in a similarly complex technical organizationDemonstrable experience with project management/delivery / ITIL in a regulated environmentTool & Technology SkillsS4 Hana implementation experience is advantageAgile experienceKnowledge, Skills, AbilitiesAbility to set expectations, explain and foster detailed technical concepts to peers, management and business partnersAbility to translate details into specific tasks needed to accomplish a task or solve a problemExcellent customer service skills requiredExcellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and domain expertsGood interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, including sharing information to both technical and non-technical staff and managementShown ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving complex environment.Demonstrable ability to navigate the technology environment and work optimally with multiple groups around the globeStrong negotiation/persuasion and analytical skillsAbility to communicate and succeed in a matrix organization with multiple business partners and IT colleagues on a remote basisHave the attitude to question the status quoAt Thermo Fisher Scientific, each one of our 70,000 extraordinary minds has a unique story to tell.
