As the As Global Buyer Manufacturing & Supply Indirect, you will be responsible for the category of spend in His / Her portfolio, est.150+ M€ /year to support the implementation of sourcing strategies according to Healthy Savings Indirect Program roadmap as well as leading specific sourcing activities across all M&S business units at global level.This position focuses on the sourcing & coordination of Indirect services impacting M&S P&L (Mainly External Workforce, Real Estate and Workplace services, Human & Corporate Services, Laboratory Services), while coordinating the building and roll-out of proper sourcing tactics in line with the category strategies at Global level.An important objective and purpose of this role will be to work closely and to support the Global Lead Buyer M&S Indirect (1) to fuel & adapt the HSI roadmap & strategies, (2) support the budget scenario modeling, (3) lead some key Global sourcing project (4) develop appropriate dashboard to monitor performance & execution (5) co-animate the extended procurement and KSOL network, including steering committees (6) Support Domain LT Governance and Monitor KPIsThe scope of this position is Global and for all entities of Sanofi Group.We’re an innovative global healthcare company that helps the world stay ahead of infectious diseases by delivering more than 500 million vaccine doses a year.   • Support Global Lead buyer M&S Indirect in building up projects & budget scenario modeling and planning exercises to enable strategic and operational decision making for all M&S platforms’ current and future portfolio, including the financial dimension (Budget, Long Term Strat plan, Headwinds) in close collaboration with Global Finance platforms Heads and site controllers

Operations Management for “Other Indirect” spend

  • Ensures the implementation and operational follow-up of action plans derived from the strategies defined by the Category Management and/or Procurement Business Partners, in close collaboration with the Global Lead Buyer M&S Indirect, procurement network and stakeholders
  • Proactively with Global Lead buyer M&S indirect, Global Category Managers, analysts, and key procurement project leaders, generate additional opportunities to enrich initiatives portfolio year over year
  • Participate to the improvement of the execution process and ways of working by developing/maintaining tools and database to drive rigor and alignment across all M&S and procurement network, and enhance simplicity in information sharing and tracking
  • Contribute to proper execution of cultural transformation (mindset of indirect spend criticality/focus)
  • Data crunching: Collect, clean, organize and analyze large volumes of raw data. Leveraging advanced Excel formulas and functions (V/Xlook up, index Match, concatenate, SUMIF, IFAND etc.). Stripping out unwanted information and formatting, translating data into the required format and structuring it for analysis (pareto, charts etc.) or processing by other applications. Once these steps are completed, apply analysis tools to the data to glean business insights
  • Leads global RFIs/RFPs and contract negotiations for his/her domain/category and stays informed on current industry trends and new market developments related to his/her category area while undertaking benchmarking against other industries and best practices and runs robust Supplier Management with business reviews & performance management Ensure mastery of Procurement technical excellence (TCO, SRM, Market Intel, Risk Management, Innovation, CSR, HSE, compliance, quality)
  • Delivers savings pipeline in line with targets defined and reports on status, savings, performance, and risks on the sourcing activities he/she is in charge of while working closely with Procurement Services to leverage as much as possible the middle and back-offices services

About youExperience:

  • 4 to 8 years’ experience in Procurement or related field

  • Technical knowledge of the category/domain

  • Analytic advanced skills for data crunching purpose (Excel, Power BI, Thinkcell etc.)
  • Good understanding of finance and legal aspects

Education:

  • Master degree or equivalent (engineer) from accredited College or University
  • MBA in procurement is a plus

Languages:

  • Fluent in English is a must
  • French language (proficient level) is a plus
