Clinical Trial Manager, Clinical Operations

Are you enthusiastic about working with clinical trials in an international environment? If so, then you could be our new Global Clinical Trial Manager.
Your new role
You will be an essential part of our global Clinical Operations team. As a Clinical Trial Manager, you will lead a global cross-functional trial management team of colleagues from relevant Clinical Research & Development functions. You will work closely with stakeholders from different professional, geographical, and cultural backgrounds across the organisation and externally with clinical experts, patient advocacy groups, and clinical research organisations (CROs), as we deliver the clinical trial portfolio in an outsourced model.
As Clinical Trial Manager, you are the primary point of contact for our vendors/CROs for the effective execution of our clinical trials. You will be responsible for their oversight and management, their deliverables in collaboration with your Lundbeck colleagues, and for delivering high-quality trial execution within timelines and budget. As we constantly seek to improve, you will contribute to optimising our clinical trial processes.
The role is based at Lundbeck’s headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark. Approximately 20 travel days per year are expected.

What you bring to the team
You are comfortable taking ownership of and coordinating your tasks, have a leadership mindset and have at least 5 years of industry experience.
You are enthusiastic and skilled at:
-Leading trial management teams, managing CROs and vendors with budget oversight
-Working as a trial manager on various studies
-Working in cross-functional teams and motivating others
-Working with multiple country/site studies
-Working with diverse and multiple collaborators
-Working independently in a structured, active manner with a solid costumer focus
-Managing deadlines and working with multiple priorities using effective communication and collaboration skills
Our preferred candidate has the following profile:
-MSc level or above within medical, pharmaceutical, or biological sciences and – 5 years of experience in managing clinical trials in the pharmaceutical industry or CRO (Clinical Research Organisation)
-Experience managing rare disorder clinical trials is beneficial but not essential
-Experience in managing clinical trials within brain diseases is beneficial but not essential
-Effective communication and coordination skills with international experience and a multicultural mindset
-Solid interpersonal skills: pro-active, goal-oriented, focused, responsible, and effective
-Able to communicate effortlessly in English – both orally and in writing
