In 2021, APM Terminals generated revenues above 4 billion USD and carried out more than 20 million container moves.About the jobWhere you fit inThe Change Management Specialist, a key member of the Strategy and Transformation Office, reports directly to the Head of Change Management. This role is pivotal in executing well-defined change management activities. As a global position, it demands a blend of change management expertise, project management skills, business acumen, and exceptional interpersonal abilities. The job holder must be able to frame, execute, and resolve complex issues. This dynamic and fast-paced role requires the capacity to maintain a holistic view while managing the critical details essential for success.The primary purpose of the role is to:Work on one or multiple transformation programmes, with oversight or leadership from a Transformation Lead and the Head of the Change Management practiceImplement measurable change management interventions and broader change initiatives.Assist the Head of Change Management to build the practice, maturing Change Management capabilities and driving improved ways of working.Operate, with support where needed across the Strategy and Transformation OfficeWork closely and collaboratively with other related functions including HR, Employee Communications, Finance, within APM Terminals to deliver a comprehensive service to the TerminalsEquip the Terminals with the skills to better manage and sustain changeAccountabilities:Build and execute the change management planBuild and manage change management deliverables and activities to a business-ready standardEnsure that the appropriate change management tools and methods are applied to transformation projectsPartner with other parts of the organisation to deliver high quality change management interventionsWork with colleagues to build the Change Management capabilityDevelop Lean mindsets and behavioursAs a member of the Change Management practice, create an environment where members feel motivated, engaged, connected, able to perform to high levels and to grow and develop in their roles.Work to develop the Change Management practice and facilitate knowledge sharing and capturing of good practice, and work to build and retain knowledge of external best practice (both in change management and communications more broadly)What we need from youMust have legal authorisation to work in the Netherlands on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.Bachelor’s degree requiredMinimum seven (7) years of relevant experienceNative English speakerDeep expertise in initiating Change Management on highly complex organisationsUnderstanding of the different Change Management methodologies approaches, with emphasis on driving measurable business resultsProven business transformation and change management delivery track record (strong planning and execution discipline, delivering high quality, high impact solutions and interventions)Strong stakeholder relationships and stakeholder management skills – proven track record in working as trusted advisor at senior business leader level on critical, complex Change Management challenges and influencing effectively at different organizational levelsProven track record of playing a “change integrator role” and leading change on an individual, team and organisational levelHighly skilled in coaching and developing others (developing competence in others in Change Management Capability development/coaching)Able to produce high quality business-facing deliverables and activities to drive and sustain changeCourage and determination to challenge current practices and mindsets, challenge senior leaders while maintaining effective relationships. Independent objective thinker.
