We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Delivery Manager to lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of Transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the successful expansion of our platform, enabling us to scale and service diverse business cases.Job responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale transformation programs, ensuring that outcomes, roadmaps, and reporting are effectively established.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and business stakeholders, to agree on scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering teams throughout the development cycle to ensure that delivery goals and timelines are met.
- Provide regular transparency to stakeholders through high-quality governance materials, such as scorecards and SteerCo updates.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Act as the primary point of contact for project-related aspects with stakeholders, partners, and customers, fostering strong relationships and providing regular updates on project progress.
- Contribute to the architecture and design of solutions that support product goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with Engineering Leads and Product Owners to define, plan, and conduct testing, showcasing and socializing the output of each sprint to users and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with end users, test teams, and relevant stakeholders to align test environments and facilitate effective execution of end-to-end testing.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing effective mitigation strategies and contingency plans to maintain project momentum.
- Manage blockers and impediments through to resolution, ensuring risks and dependencies are transparent, and fully accounted for in delivery.
- Ensure adherence to best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- BS/BA degree or equivalent
- At least 5 years of experience in a project management or delivery management role, preferably in the financial services or technology sector.
- Experience working on large-scale transformation programs.
- Detailed understanding & experience in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., JIRA, Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
- Proven experience of building strong, cohesive partnerships with key stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate concepts to senior mgmt. and clients
- Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
- A commercial mind-set to deliver short, medium and long term strategies to achieve sustained efficiency, an innovative thought process, and focus on simplification
- Understanding of financial and accounting management, such as investment processes, business case development

- Nice to have: Strong domain knowledge in one or more financial domains/products
