Sewell Wallis are partnering with a global business in York who are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join their team.What will you be doing?
- Preparing monthly management accounts and providing meaningful commentary on financial results and trends.
- Overseeing internal orders, SLA’s and transfer pricing.
- Assisting with the preparation of financial forecasts helping to predict future costs, revenues and profitability to support strategic business decisions.
- Working closely with the cost centre owners, providing valuable data insights and cost control recommendations.
- Negotiating contracts across the group, both in the UK and globally.
- Supporting non finance colleagues, helping them to understand and manage key processes.
- Ensuring compliance.
- Ad hoc project based work.
- Supporting and mentoring other team members.
What skills do we need
- PQ Accountant towards the end of studies/qualified Accountant, ideally CIMA/ACCA/ACA.
- Advanced Excel and data modelling skills.
- Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
- SAP experience would be advantageous.
