Offer DescriptionDuring the first year of the fellowship, the candidate will assist scientific research within the “Light-Sheet Fluorescence Microscopy” (LSFM) Facility Hub of the European Laboratory for Non-Linear Spectroscopy as part of the Ebrains-Italy project for the establishment of the Italian national node of the EBRAINS Research Infrastructure. Specifically, the candidate will focus on defining procedures for the preparation of biological samples (in terms of labeling and tissue clearing) using “smart-hydrogel,” acquiring samples with LSFM, and analyzing the images while ensuring access to the Facility Hub. In the second year, as part of the “Smart-BRAIN” project, the candidate will apply the developed protocols to analyze samples from individuals affected by Alzheimer’s disease, aiming to study the dynamics of immune system recruitment during the neuroinflammation associated with this condition.Where to apply E-mail[email protected]RequirementsAdditional InformationEligibility criteriaPHD in Psichology, Neuroscience or in subject related to the researchEligible destination country/ies for fellows:
