Law on higher education and science – statement who fulfill the following eligibility criteria as per the Charter of the University of Agriculture:Essential requirements:1. degree in forestry, earth sciences or related disciplines;2. doctoral degree obtained outside the Agricultural University of Cracow not earlier than 7 years before the year of employment in the project or at least 10-month post doc internship in a unit other than the project provider and in a country other than the country where the doctoral degree was obtained;3. recognised scientific achievements confirmed by publications in international journals and conference proceedings;4. carrying out research projects or implementation studies in cooperation with the socio-economic environment;5. good knowledge of remote sensing and GIS;6. ability to analyse remote-sensing data in Google Earth Engine;7. good knowledge of statistical methods of data analysis; 8;8. good knowledge of the R programming language;9. knowledge of English at B2 level with willingness for language development and self-improvement;10. during the period of receiving remuneration for work in the project in question, the candidate will not receive any other remuneration from the funds allocated as direct costs from research projects financed within the NCN competitions;11. during the period of receiving remuneration for work in the project in question, the candidate will not receive remuneration from another employer on the basis of an employment contract, including an employer based outside the territory of Poland.In terms of the necessary requirements, the Order of the Rector of URK No. 9/2023 of 25 January 2023 is in force.and the URK StatuteDesired requirements:1. ability to conceptualise, design, execute and adapt research in accordance with the principle of scientific integrity;2. ability to work with large data sets;2. experience in time series analysis of satellite imagery; 3;3. experience in processing point clouds of airborne laser scanning;4. knowledge of the Python programming language.Specific RequirementsAdditional requirements:1. ability to work as part of a team;2. good communication skills.Languages ENGLISH Level ExcellentLanguages POLISH Level BasicAdditional InformationBenefits1. stable employment2. scientific support and opportunities for qualification and professional development;3. access to research infrastructure;4. benefits in the form of e.g. Multisport Card, sports activities, possibility of taking advantage of medical packages, group insurance;5. additional social benefits.Eligibility criteriaRequired application documents:1.
