We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Resilience Engineer with expertise in Technical Architecture to join our Service Resilience IT team. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our IT services and systems. Your skills in technical design, stakeholder and vendor management, and Agile methodologies enable you to navigate challenges with a proactive, analytical approach.You independently address architectural needs, manage process-specific applications, and serve as the primary contact for stakeholders and third-party vendors. Collaborating effectively across teams, you ensure seamless communication and results.In this dynamic environment, your adaptability and drive for excellence make you a cornerstone of innovation and success.Key Responsibilities:

• Runs the IT operations of the Bank in close cooperation with the IAAS managed services partner and other critical vendors (such as communication lines)
• Delivers start solution designs and architectures for resilience related projects and oversee the general landscape of supporting applications and integrations running on premise and on Azure data centers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate resilience into the design of new services and applications.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Extends execution, validates, and controls updates on infrastructure, including configuration changes in networking, firewalls, and other components supporting business applications
• Automates routine tasks, including system monitoring, alerting, and remediation processes.
• Provides support acting as primary internal contact for knowledge related to the usage of his/her application and contacts vendor for external support as needed
• Creates, validates and monitors the implementation of specific operational policies/procedures such as backup, patching and cryptography
• Supports and Coordinates Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery documents and plans, keeping them up to date, including Azure components, and joining periodical DR exercises.
• Leads and mentors fellow team members in best practices and technical guidance
• As frontline department supply the evidence for own controls using the control management tool
• Proactively prevents and/or follows up IT (security) risks identified in areas of responsibility
• Stays updated with emerging technologies and industry trends

• 7+ years’ experience in a Technical/Solution Architect or similar role in FinTech
• Knowledge of Linux, Windows, MS SQL, Virtualization, Storage, AD, shell & batch programming and scripting.

• Knowledge of managing networking infrastructure (e.g. routers, switches. firewall, load balancers Wi-Fi Access Points)

• Knowledge of Infrastructure concepts such as Cloud Hyperscale’s, fundamentals of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, Networking, Security, Encryption and Disaster Recovery Planning

• Architect, design, and implement Azure infrastructure solutions that meet business requirements while ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. Stay up to date with Azure services and features to leverage the latest advancements.

• Experience with designing and integrating APIs (networking/VPC, API Gateways, etc.)

• Knowledge of and experience with IT architecture methodologies, processes, service/incident management processes and an agile work environment.

• Knowledge of techniques, infrastructure tools to be used in (automated) testing.

• Knowledge on workspace related hardware, software and appliances (based on Windows 11, Office 365, Call Center Infrastructure,) and other (multimedia, printer and videoconference) devices is a plus.

• Knowledge of Java application servers jBoss / Wildfly, Apache Tomcat is a plus

• Architecture domain certifications are a plus (e.g. TOGAF, CCNA/P, Microsoft Azure)

• Product Owner and Scrum Master skills, self-learner, owns and takes the lead to drive initiatives as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team

• Stakeholder/Vendor management and reporting,

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Can-do attitude

• Strong communication and interpersonal skill

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, multi-cultural environment

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
