We are a highly motivated team that specialises in credit risk policies, regulations, and governance. Our goal is to set and maintain ING’s global Credit Risk Framework and group credit risk policies ensuring a compliant and up to date policy house. We are the subject matter experts on credit risk regulations being the centre of competence and responsible for knowledge sharing within ING Group. Additionally, the team acts as the secretary function for the main credit risk steering committees. The Credit Risk Policy team works from our head office in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.For this team ING is looking for a dedicated Policy specialist to join our dynamic Credit Risk Policy team, with a focus on three of our main policy topics:Credit Risk Mitigation (f.e. collateral and guarantees)Credit Risk Management (f.e. credit granting, assessment, approval, and reporting)Credit Risk Appetite (f.e. setting, cascading, reporting, and monitoring of credit risk appetite)What you’ll doJointly responsible for the policy suit that relates to Credit Risk Management and Mitigation: making sure our policies are regulatory compliant and fit for purpose to manage ING’s credit riskEngaging with and advising senior colleagues.Participate in regulatory projects related to, Credit Risk Management and Credit Risk Mitigation.Explain policy requirements in the organisation.How to succeedWe hire smart people like you for your potential. In return, we back you to develop into an even more awesome version of yourself.Experience in credit risk management practices either as a policy maker or within the credit risk domain – at least 4-years’ banking experience.Drive to translate regulatory topics into an easy-to-digest text in our policies and the ability to develop presentations to that same effect.Preferably you have knowledge about credit risk regulations (CRR, CRD, RTS, EBA, ECB Guides) and risk metrics (e.g., PD, EAD, LGD, RWA, EC).
