Are you a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker with a passion for helping people? Balfor Health and Social Care is looking for experienced individuals to join our team in Stroud, working with adults who have complex needs, including challenging behaviours, autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, and mental health conditions.
As a Mental Health Support Worker, you’ll be providing essential care in residential homes and supported living environments, offering the support and guidance that empowers individuals to live their best lives. This role offers flexibility, variety, and the opportunity to truly make a difference in people’s lives.
What You’ll Do:

  • Provide care and support to individuals with complex needs, including mental health challenges, autism, and learning disabilities.
  • Work in residential settings and supported living accommodation.
  • Play a vital role in improving the lives of those you support through compassionate care and positive encouragement.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 6 months of experience in a Mental Health, Learning Disabilities, or Challenging Behaviour setting.
  • A valid UK driver’s license (you must be a driver).
  • MAPA training (we can provide this if needed).
  • Strong care competency with an ability to work flexibly.
  • A reliable, communicative approach and a passion for patient care.
