Pharos Generator Services an RSK Group company are recruiting for a Generator Engineer to join the team based in Bristol, UK. This is a full-time, permanent position.Reporting into the South West Service Manager the Generator Technician will provide maintenance, installation, diagnosis, repair and testing services across a range of diesel generator sets, switchgear, control systems and associated equipment. Our support is carried out at client’s premises or Pharos sites. Key tasks include:Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance
  • Carrying out diagnostic, testing and remedial works on generators and associated equipment
  • Providing call-out cover for generator breakdowns on a rota system
  • Carrying out client site visits
  • Projecting spares requirements for upcoming and planned works

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience in Generator Engineering of at least 5 years
  • Mechanical diagnostic experience
  • Qualified Mechanical Engineer or similar
  • Skilled in technical report writing with acute attention to detail
