The business unit Naturals offers a wide range of innovative, natural and sustainable ingredients for food and beverage manufacturers, as well as products for baby food and dietary supplements. In-house agronomists carefully select raw materials and apply responsible sourcing practices to preserve the best natural qualities of conventional and organic fruit, vegetables, meat, seafood, vanilla and plants. The food-specific products from ADF/IDF were assigned to the Naturals business unit as part of the transformation of the Flavor and Nutrition segments into the Taste, Nutrition & Health segment.

Your role

Reporting to the Global Supply Chain Director, you will be responsible for the following mission and responsibilities:

Within a team of 6 Demand & Supply Planners, into a global scope and for a defined range of product: deliver a monthly rolling forecast in qty and revenue to feed both global business planning and production & supply planning at plants. Ensure best plant allocation and flow optimization to guarantee product’s availability to meet the sales plan, while minimizing operational costs. Promote the good application of the Global Supply Chain Process, Tools and KPI.

Demand Planning:

  • Through a collaborative process with stakeholders (sales and product lines teams) validate the demand (qty/ value) on a monthly basis and provide the associated plan to industrial sites.
  • Drive the validation of demand and projects to be considered for the raw material position, facilitating arbitration (additional demand or shortage on a product) when necessary.
  • Monitor projects with the sales & product line teams that may impact product availability and support project’s start-up.
  • Co-animate the SOIP meeting by site on area of responsibility and pick off the decisions that should be taken in S&OP.

Flow optimization:

  • Consolidate the different workload management schedule of the various plants at a technology level and ensure capacity and asset optimization (short / mid and longer terms).
  • Ensure best plant allocation throughout pertinent arbitration taking into account raw material availability, production capacity, production and transportation costs, customs duties, customer requirements in term of quality and origin.
  • Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities

Supply Chain Process

  • Collaborate in the definition and maintenance of a logistics offer balancing site constraints and customer requirements.
  • Participate to the update and analyze of the KPI that will allow to control and improve the Supply Chain performance
  • Contribute to the development and deployment of global supply chain tools and the maintenance of associated master data.

About you

We are looking for an experienced and committed member of staff to join our dynamic organisation. You have an engineering degree, business school or university diploma with a specialisation in supply chain and 5 years significant experience in this field, ideally acquired in an industrial environment and within an international matrix organisation.

Skills and qualifications required:

  • Excellent command of English (mandatory), with knowledge of Spanish a strong asset
  • Proven technical expertise and business acumen
